I was invited to visit a social project in Cuenca, Ecuador, to documente this 17 years running project of social work in the market of Cuenca, where children get an education and a support to find a way for a better life. The project take care about almost 130 children and more than 30 families to help them out of the irredeemably and violent neighborhood of the market place, where the families work for almost 60 dollars a month. Not enough to pay the rent, the school fee of 100 dollars a year for each child and where the almost 20 years old women have 3 or 4 children and a husband who drinks and drubbing his wife.
